I have a opportunity to pick up a 1968 Super Kodiak 64" 53# in very nice original condition, it has several of the tyipical vertical stress lines. I can get the bow for $300 is this a fair deal.

It's a desirable weight, so I'd say the price is about right.
On a related note, I see that there's a 1968 80 pounder on eBay right now. It'll be interesting to see what it goes for. Hardly ever see them that heavy.

He could always sen to Bear custom shop and have work done on it if he wanted.LOL''I would say yes also check as many classifieds as you can and put an add up in classifieds what your looking for. Just maybe someone see's this a responds also. You will be ahead.

if its a weight you can shoot and a bow you will use by all means its a fair price. I picked one up for $220 but it was refinished and had holes; it shoots just fine and looks awesome if you look at it from 10ft away.
