Are the limb bolts and knobs on the Sage proprietary or can I just use the regular 5/16 tapered socket head limb bolts? Anyone else really dislike limb bolt knobs in general?

The tapered sockethead bolt or flathead is not a really good fit for sage limbs. I used the button head socket for awhile then ordered the Sage limb bolt which I like better. I think McMaster Carr carrys that same bolt but not really sure. At the price of the Sage bolts I just ordered them. Chuck

I replaced mine with Allen head countersink, they work fine. They leave a small gap as they don't match perfectly. But seat the limbs just fine. Heve shot 2/3 hundred arrows lately too make sure, no problems.
