Does anyone know what year Hoyt stopped making there one piece recurves? Have a guy wanting to sale one so going tomorrow to see what he has. All he knew is it is 60 inch and 50lb draw. Also that it was a one piece wood bow. (he called it). I have always liked Hoyt bows but have never handeld one of there older bows just their newer 3 piece bows. Thanks for any info.

Hoyt made a 62" Hoyt Pro Medalist Hunter model, and a 58" Pro Hunter. I don't know of any 60" Hoyt, but maybe it's the Pro Hunter and he's measure it tip to tip. We almost need a picture to say what it is. You could buy the Pro Hunter into the mid 70's.

It really kind of depends on which one it is. Hoyt made a lot of 1 piece bows over a number of years.

I will find out tomorrow. A man and his step sons thought they would try out shooting recurves and decided it was not for them and went back to there wheel bows. They priced me there 3 recurves and all arrows, broad heads, feathers and anything else they had cheap to get rid of it all. They said it was to hard! I told them I would take it all. It was a price I could not turn down! I already have the other 2 bows sold as they would be a good beginner bow and I knew 2 guys wanting to try there hand in shooting recurves. There kids have started shooting so they want to shoot with there kids.

And Howatt made a couple for them as well. I can't remember which one Larry Hatfield said, but it was not the upper line.

Barber -
Also depends on what you mean by "Hoyt". Earl Hoyt was phasing out most his wood risered bow around 1972.
Like Mr. Stout said, pics would help.
Viper out.
