We have an older leatherwaller on here who is battling bone marrow cancer. I know we have many on here who are Christians. My little church has a prayer list we go over every Sunday and as a congregation, pray for people. I challenge all fellow Christians to do the same in your churches. Our congregation has already seen a miracle. Maybe, with God's will, a bunch of us can get this leatherwaller, who is 80, feeling good, running his beagle, and shooting his bow. I won't give out his name, as God knows who he is. Just call him "brother." Time for a miracle, God Bless.

Reading these posts is emotional. I will PM Brother Sunday night to see how he is doing after our churches prayer service and keep us up to date. He has a beagle that gives him comfort and being a hound lover myself it touched me. You can tell a lot about a man by the way he feels about his dog. Talked with our brother today and they postponed hi Friday chemo to try a new drug next week that gives less nausea and numbness. He is a tough bird and is responding to the prayer. Will keep in touch every few days and update. He and his wife are on our permanent prayer list at church. Guarantee that if we all keep faith, he and his wife will be blessed as will all of us. Bob

We have a wall in our youth room where anyone can wright down their prayer intentions. We include them when we open and close with prayer when we meet. Tuesday and Sunday evenings twice each day X how many kids and adults are there, this will be started tonight for our 80 yr old brother

Read an email from our brother today. Actually, with coaching I finally got on leatherwall tonight. His new medicine is working but he gets tired easily. His wife suggested that being 80 might have something to do with it. I am a couple months shy of 70, and think that she could be on to something. I had to give up chasing my runners on foot and now resort to a bike. Sounds like prayer is working as his spirits are upbeat. Keep them coming. One great thing about this thread is I and those of us praying now have a new friend. I intend to keep this thread going, and if others need prayer, jump in. Bob
