Just picked up a Dwyer Original with 17 arrows ,leather back quiver ,armguard, tabs and other assorted items for $200.00. Bow is in excellent shape showing minor wear from hunting. The other items show expected wear from normal use. Was wondering if this was a good deal? I shot the bow real smooth and quiet and a great step up in performance compared to my Montana. Sorry can't post pics at this time but will try at a later time. Want to hear everyones opinion if possible good or bad.

Thanks Dan

Dan, my friend, what would make that not a good deal? Dude. Sounds to me like you hit the jackpot if you can shoot it well.

Thanks guys, I forgot to add the Thunderhorn 4 arrow quiver he threw in. The guy was getting out of trad so was unloading stuff.

Just got in from shooting and all i can say is now i know what a good longbow shoots like. If i do my part it hits where i am looking. It seems to be set up for three under as i tried split and shot high but was dead on with three under. Shooting to same point of impact with and without the quiver and my arrow setup, So far very pleased with purchase. Don't know how to post pics from my phone, I'll take some tomorrow and try to post them.

hunter? If You like it then it's a great deal. Sad to hear about the other fella getting out of trad. He giving up archery period or going to compound? A shame to lose somebody from our TRIBE. STAY SAFE / WELL / WARM / COMFORTABLE & BLESSED BE! Batman

From what he said he is still going to hunt with his compound, not sure if he is going to stop trad all together or if his age is a limiting factor. Myself i find it harder to draw a compound with the greater draw force at the beginning, it seems to put more stress on my arms until it breaks over. This bow and my Bob Lee signature just feel smoother. ( i can miss just as well with either)

At least the bow is going to someone who will use it. Glad to see that.

Hope to put it to use this year if i'm shooting well with it. One good round doesn't make it , i want to be good out to 20 yds so far so good. We have the whole month of December after gun season still, so hope to get out weather permitting.
