I just bought what I thought was going to be an exact duplicate of my 47# Wing Gull (thanks greensngravy!) which is in better condition (sans drill holes) than my current Gull. I was surprised that the new to me bow doesn't have the same shape shelf. My first Gull has a slope off the side of the shelf. This second one, which has darker and nicer wood, does not have that. Can anyone help me date these based on that one difference? Curious which design came first.

Sorry Biathlonman. It is a great bow - and greensngravy was real easy to deal with. When I saw a duplicate of the bow I love so much... I just couldn't resist it.
