Ididnt have a Mc Broom stringfollow.I had one by another bowyer,It was a nice shooter And Mc Broom makes a good one too ill bet.Hhill shot some heavy bows in the 30s to get the cast up on his bows and when fiberglass came along he never looked back.So for me the shooting qualities were not much different than a strait or backset and it was slower.
