Today's shot will be 21 yards from an elevated position. Use whatever you can to simulate a shot from height... balcony, step-ladder, treestand, hillside, tailgate, etc.

God Bless,

Good morning FS, it's a beautiful high over cast morning here. All the corn and beans are yellow :) I took my shot from the deck at 21yds. Shooting my 59 Grizzly and POC. Hit a little to far forward, maybe. Thanks for calling the shots CD. Have a good one everybody. JF

Good Morning FS. Shot as called from a dirt embankment at a 1/4 away target.

Not my best effort, shot too far forward.

Have a GREAT day all !!!

21 yard off the roof of my house. Little low maybe it would have ducked into it.

Elevated shot as called from 12' up. Further back than I would like but it may have worked cold weather on its way to NE Ohio.

CD, I change the target just for you! Coffee can cover shot taken from twenty one yards elevated! Used the Kramer made Big Five, Bear metric,8.6 with a razorhead mounted! Good shot one inch low of dead center! Enjoy your day! Jacques

I took my shot from a 10ft ladder stand. The result is good, foam backstraps for the grill, but I had a bad release. I was surprised that I hit so well. My next shot had a better release and a good result as well.

Good shooting, gang! Once again, I'm shooting at last light.

This morning I was running a bit behind schedule and decided not to take my bow and get in FSOD while I was headed down the long driveway to get the newspaper..and I promptly ran into a 3 yo black bear at 25 yards. We had a rather tense moment, he resumed walking TOWARD me, tense got real LOUD, and I convinced him to veer off to a new course that took him past me at about 10 yards. BTW, today was first day of the bear season in NC.

So tonight's last shot of the day ended up being about 27 yards, as that was the first tree I could find on the steep downslope to hold up my practice target. This photo taken without flash.

Shot with the 52# Bear TD, shot from the flat top over the kitchen and maybe a bit further back than intended. Kind of fun sneaking over the edge of the mudroom and under the limb of the apple tree. No idea of which was #1 and #3 as they were kinda hiding behind some apple leaves after the shot!

Seem to be pulling a little left lately, but think follow through is getting me there.

Thanks for the call CD!
