do a search for the Poke n hope traditional shoot, then get some contacts from that to call,, also try the white mtn traditional bow hunters.

finally from hear go to the Bowsite, then go to state forums and then Maine and check with those guys.

ok last would the DNR they have to list the public areas just be sure they don't stock pheasants for a much more peaceful hunt..

good luck!

Biddeford is next to Dayton and Buxton, both of which habe lots of great farmland and tons of deer. If you will be there for a month, I'll bet if you ask you can get the OK to bowhunt. Don't forget to stop at Pizza By Alex, the best pizza around.

Oh, FYI... Biddeford can be a bit "rough", certain areas anyhow. A sidearm is a good idea. No CC permit needed as of this month, thanks to some progressive lawmakers and Gov. Lepage.

Thanks for the info i will check out the pizza. As in rough you mean high crime area or just tough guys .

Both. If it wasn't for the Pizza and Market Basket, I would never venture there. Don't get me wrong, there are nice sections of Biddeford, but as I prefer trees to people, and I see a different side of Mankind than most due to my line of work, I'm afraid I'm not very objective.

CC permit I believe is for Mainers only, not really sure for outsiders.
