Shot this doe under an apple tree yesterday afternoon. Shooting DAS Gen I riser with 54# Morrison Max 2 limbs, Axis 400, 200 grain Razorcap. Watched her drop. I had an extra doe tag for my zone so used it the first opportunity.

Shot this Nanny this morning. I used a Blacktail Columbian 49@27 and a Simmons shark broadhead. She went about 40 yards.

10/10/15.. In my blind a whopping 45 min. got her done with a LH Sty Joe River Torrent recurve. 47# x 56"... 15 yard shot. she went 40 yard sand piled up. Arrow was a 2018 xx75 Classic tipped with a vintage 2 bladed Anderson 245 head. Now for that non-typical I've been after..LOL

Sunday, Oct. 18th. NE Oklahoma. First deer with a longbow. BamaBows Royal Expedition III, 1535 GT Traditional w/50 gr. brass insert, 125 gr VPA non-vented head. 10-12 yd shot, complete pass through. 30 yard recovery distance. Grilled the tenderloins last night with sautéed mushrooms, French bread and a good Cab. Don't get much better than that!

46#@26" NM Baraga and Magnus Stinger on GT 1535 arrow. Complete pass through at 12 yards.

First buck of the season. 7 point. Harvested around 7am with my Saxon recurve 56 pound. 3 rivers cedar shafts 125 grain woodsman. About a 20 yard shot. Double lungged him. He went about 40 yards.

2nd buck

I shot this young buck on public land 10/24/15 at about 28 yards. Made a great shot and he went 40-50 yards and piled up within sight.

Taken out of ground blind on waterhole on our family ranch. I dug the pit when I was about 14 or 15 with a farm tractor and a2 yard scraper. I hit a coal vein and quit before getting to the planned depth. It's never been dry and I'm 59 now. In eastern Montana that's saying something. First time I really tried to hunt it. Takes awhile to get the whities used to the blind. Always was nervous about shooting thru mesh, but it seems to work fine, at least at close ranges.

11-02-15 Steuben County NY 48lb McCullough 59er Eclipse broadhead

First trad buck; taken November 1 @10 min past sunrise in northern Indiana. Slightly quartering away at 18 yds, arrow hit forward of shoulder and passed through the far side neck. Buck bedded down 30 yds; I bumped him and backed out. He resettled 20 yards further in the brush; I came back 4 hours later and put the same arrow through both lungs as he sat on the ground. 1954'ish Bear 40#, GT5575 w/Zwickey Delta, 125 gr inserts.

I shot this coyote while he was chasing after a yearling doe. He had her pretty much worn down. 10 yards with a 55# Zipper TD, CX Heritage shaft and Wensel Woodsman head.

Shot from the ground on public at 4 yards, saw him bedded slipped up super close

17 yard shot and he went down in 60 yards. Northwind recurve 56" 57#@28" cedar arrow and Zwickey Delta broadhead

18 yard shot doe with new Heritage Rose Oaks 46 limbs and 2018 legacy pulling near 49 at my draw with a German Kinetic 182 grain head and 605 on the arrow weight. She went 60 yd I guess then she fell. Nice fat doe.

Shot this guy on 11/14 at 37 yards and he went 30 yards and died. He scored 161 4/8 and field dressed at 225lbs!

I used my Schafer Silvertip recurve that's 60" and 62lbs with a 310 grain Grizzly Kodiak single bevel broadhead. Got a complete passthrough at 37 yards.

My new Heritage Rose Oaks 58" 46 @ 28 limbs on the bow with a 35- 55 Gold Tip blem, 165 shark broadhead is shooting well. Always wanted a pieball but never was lucky enough to shoot one before him. I shot at 1 other pieball a doe over the years in NJ but mised her 2 times she tantilized me that year only giving me 2 shots and I mised both of them shooting over her. I tried hard to get her and was just hunting her for 2 weeks when someone else shot her with a gun I was sick over that deer.The guy called me up hey Glenn just to let you know I got your doe! The white one? Yup I was sick but figuired she's be gone when 6 day came in anyways.

This was a 12 yard shot the arrow went through her other side with the nock showing and back of fletch on left side the side I shot on and knew how good the shot was when the arrow left and saw that fletching almost disappear. He pulled arrow through him on right side found deer in eye site 30 yards over little hill. Arrow laying there with all the right evidence. Enjoy TG for this one.
