Just got this Dual Shelf Bear Cub bow hopefully the photos will give an idea on info but says it's 48# but no specified draw length. I'm pretty sure it's Vintage and would it be considered a Longbow?

2Blade, Your Cub was manufactured between late 1955 to 1957 and was replaced by the Alaskan in 1958. Silk screening started in late 1955 bows and was on all Bear bows by 1956. Your bow was considered a semi-recurve, according to my bow catalog, and all the Cubs for these years were 62" , like yours. The draw wt. was measured at 28". Have fun shooting it, they are neat bows. These bows were priced from $22.50 in 1955 and a whole $24.50 in 1957. Lance.

It is a 1957 model and at the time was called a semi-recurve. Unless a special order it was measured at 28". bvd
