Anyone know anything about this logo? A friend of mine picked this bow up somewhere.

Interesting, I've never seen that logo before.

It had me interested also. I will get a couple more pics and find out if its a kids bow.

The bow's not from Detroit, but the sticker is. ;^)

Neat find.

That Bear looks like a gap shooter with a target archer anchor.... LOL

That's cool. Look forward to more pictures. I have no clue, but looks like that wasn't the only sticker in that general location over time...looks like there was a larger one there at one time.

"The bow's not from Detroit, but the sticker is. ;^)"

I believe you're correct.

It's obviously a 50s Bear of some sort. It's got glass and multiple lams in the limbs, leather grip.

Grayling.

That is one of Bears first logo's.

CEME, I don't think there was another decal. I think that is the a clear outer ring on the decal.

That is very cool!

The more I look at it the more it looks like a LH polar. I am left handed and like polars. Just sayin.... Could be a Panda too.

Not a collector; don't know much about the history, but I'm positive Bear started in a small shot in Detroit in the early 30's. Someone in the know will be along shortly, I'm sure. I'd say your friend may have a very nice collectible.

Looks like a '57 or '58 Polar. Red glass both sides? bvd

My Dad grew up in Detroit and is always telling me about walking down to the Bear Shop to buy arrows, he's 77 this year so yah it could be.
