Holezone very nice now you need the other Howitt models so start on more Super D's next and the others there's plenty more out there to get.

How does that bow rack work? Friction?

Looks great. Nice collection.

Do you have a 58" Hunter made for 5 years 1975/80 I think. Kinda rare but I bought one in the mid 70's

Pretty sure that if I tried to draw 80#, my arm would rip from the socket and hit the target with the arrow.

I knew it was you(hole zone) before I even opened it up! Keep it up and I'm always on the hunt for you, Your the only one crazy to shoot bows that weigh more than half what I do! When I pull them back my feet come off the ground! Arrowchucker

Nice "starter" collection! And it's a wise man that makes a bow rack with more slots than bows on hand!

If they will listen I always recommend a 200 dollar Howatt Hunter with an appropriate draw weight for someone new to traditional archery...best bang for the buck out there

Thanks for the post. I keep telling my wife my recurve habit is perfectly normal and that there are lots of guys who have more bows than me that are normal guys. Now I can show her a picture of a normal guy with some recurves. He even has open spaces for more bows. I don't even have a rack yet.

Very nice bunch of Howatt's...I can't pass them up either...especially the mid to late 50's and early 60's Hunter's, Hi-Speeds and Monterey's. I have a few newer models as well, including a Sabre.

You're right about the price...just have to be patient and wait for the right one to come along.

My 80# Hunter is very easy to shoot and just rips a arrow out of there. $200 shipped to me in Canada.

Simply beautiful. I have fourteen bows in my collection, predominantly Bear and Howatt. I keep the plastic bottle caps from water jugs and screw them into the end of wooden pegs to keep the bows from falling from the rack. My wife finds the plastic caps in my pants pocket at laundry time and knows I'm up to something......so many beautiful works of functional art out there!
