Thanks to Mommasa and a two year wait( I could still be waiting it great) he did the carving and I did the rest I got a all K-Bar did some rework and stuck on the deer antler. I think it turned out great.

I just ordered some parts for an antler handled damascas I'm gonna work on. I'll post pics when I'm done, but I dont think I'm up for much carving. I would probably just mess it up.

I just got a new Kabar MK I - the old US Navy style from WWII and I really like it. I had watched an episode of HOW ITS MADE last year filmed at the Kabar plant in New York state and was very impressed with their crew of workers. They take great pride in their work. Buying American quality is what I try to do to support my countrymen.

If anyone is interested, I noticed that REI is having a Labor Day sale this week, including some Case USA folding trappers. I really don't need anymore knives, but some of you do.

I think my rotation schedule calls for me to carry my Highpockets knife tomorrow while bowhiking. Never get tire of that beauty.
