My wife went today without me, if she sticks one, I'm going to be a tired sucker tomorrow at work! I get to go up for a few days this week and next week and then for the last eleven days, can't wait!

I'm going up to camp tomorrow. Hunting the whole season. I've got a cow tag and a bear tag and if I fill them both and am seeing a lot of elk I'll go get an either sex tag too.

Paul, can you deploy your bow if you run into an elk hiking in?

From: Gaur

sitting this year out. Enjoy the experience all of you lucky ones!

Watched "Elk Fever" by Larry Jones and Dwight Schuh tonight while here working in Haiti. Great old video.

Well, I think I will need to move the pack to get at the bow. The pack is heavy. I will be using trekng poles so I had to carry it somewhere. I could take it down but with a little repositioning I could get it pretty fast this way...

Was just in the mountains trout fishing. Scouted some of the higher elevations for game. Wish I could have stayed to hunt! Back to work tomorrow. Good luck to those of you who get to hunt those majestic places!!!
