Hey Guys, Had to make do, so I shot with the Tigercat at a box about the size of a vital zone with bare fingers. Max distance at my local this morning was about 8-10 yards. God Bless
Good morning FS, I'll do your shot Randy. 1st bottom 2nd top rt. 3rd top Lt. Shooting my 66" 52# longbow. I had to drag Harley Boy along he hates the range :) have a good one everybody. JF
Walked out my front door and shot at an unknown distance. It turned out to be 28 yards. Arrow is hard to see but it is 4" or so left of dead center. Used one of my frankenbows.
I chose a 3 shot group at 18 yrds, used my TimberHawk & German spruce shafts. Happy with it. Cool,a little rain, nice day. Now it's off to the deer woods for the day. Thanks for the choice CD and a great day to all.
I chose walk back for my first 3 shots of the day… 15, 20, 25 w/ eclipse broad heads for the 20 & 25. Cougar 706 and Surewood doug firs. 15 was high and left a bit, 20 higher and 25 about 2.5" low and down the center, but a shot I was pleased with.
Then I took shots 4, 5 & 6 of the day with my Cougar 962 w/ the same arrows and had almost identical results. Both bows are 64" AMO and 46#.
No pics today because I forgot to put the card in the camera before photographing.
Thanks CD, did a walkback this morning w/ the go to hunting weapon. Nice and cool this morning at 68*, but creeping into the mid 90's by mid-afternoon. Y'all stay safe and take care! Season right around the corner, so practice, practice, practice!
Took a break from making spaghetti sauce and attempted a group from 35yds with an obstruction( the rhododendron). Used a 45# Blackhawk Scorpion with some micro flite arrows. #1 was the miss I think as I didn't hear it hit foam like I heard with #'s 2 & 3
I've had to work all weekend, so I was happy to finally get a shot in this evening.
Nothing special, just an 18yard shot... but I got out 'Holes', my goto hunting bow for this season. She is one of my 67½ Super Kodiaks, 47#. I had to complete some arrows for her and she shoots like a dream!
