Hang on stand: What a bowhunter does when his foot slips while preparing to hunt deer.

Brace: What a bowhunter wears after he can't hang on his stand any longer.

Riser: What we call a hunter who comes nose to nose with a bear in his pre-dawn walk to his stand.

Trajectory: Basic angle and speed of the riser as he bolts for his truck.

Helical Jig: A lively dance, usually performed when one realizes a huge spider has just climbed up their pant leg.

Bracer: A refreshing beverage consumed at camp after a long day of hanging on stands.

Best bow I ever shot: Will be in the classifieds next month.

Shoots like a dream: Same as Best bow I ever shot.

Long Shot: 17.4 yards.

I seen: What you put on cakes.

I'm Often Asked: I'm never asked....well, maybe once.
