I've got one too, great bow. The high dollar customs don't have anything on these Howatts. I had a grey Mamba that I bought the same day as this Hunter. Got them both brand new, but not sure what year it was

BobW, thanks for the info. I bought this bow and the Mamba at a sportshop that was going out of business in CT. Saw the sale sign driving by, turned around and got both bows for $150.

Jay, I bought the recurves for bow fishing. Didn't want to risk getting my longbows all nasty and stinking like carp. Plus I figured if I ever lost my anchor I could tie a recurve to the end of the line! ;)
