From what I was told last night at regular Thursday bales and DART, I'm riding along with Banjo, maybe Mrs. Banjo, Trad-freak, and Miss Purple on Saturday. Hoping all our schedules work out. This is just a cool, fun place to shoot!

Through the magic of computers, smartphones, and FaceBook, Scott just sent a return message, and said if we leave his QTH around 7:30 AM, ETA at Seneca would be around 8:30 AM or so, depending on traffic on 70.

We're ordering some special-cut steaks for the big grill Saturday. If you want one we need to know by 10AM Saturday. Cook your own format. Green beans & taters for a side. Should be about $10 for 12 oz steak.

WOW...What a great day!! The Crew of "Strictly Sticks Traditional Archers" would like to thank the Seneca Traditional Archers crew for having a great shoot! Though we were only there today, out of the the entire event's 2 days, we had a great time!
The course, set up with multiple stakes and offshoots, effectively making 2 courses, was challenging, as we encountered some great West "By God" Virginia hills. But, they thought it out, 'cause at the end of the course awaited a kitchen with a wide array of drink and food choices.
And, if you thought the fun was only on the course and in the kitchen, well outside in the common areas were a kid's course, a long distance target, and an atlatal range!
Circling the whole area: folks camping, and making a temporary home away from home. If you came not knowing any one, you will surely leave feeling like you have a new family....
All of us hope to return next year, to possibly stay the entire weekend. We know we missed out on much of the fun yet transpiring, but with a day as full as we had today, we left satisfied.
Well done, Seneca crew, well done! AND THANK YOU!

Randy, Thanks so much to you, your Sticks crew, and everyone else for your continued support of our little get together. Another successful trad shoot and as always it was so great to see old friends again and welcome some first-timers to our little get together!
