Works as good as any stripper. I normally just scrape them though. Don't use stripper much any more.

I don't use striper. Just scrape and sand. JF

nope never seen that product, have used mineral spirites , to clean and thin and clean cracks. then air dry, wipe with acetone, and reseal. I do this to fine furniture, I don't touch many bows though

I just stripped an old fasco with citristrip. Works great, let it sit on the bow for about 3 hours and the finish will scrape right off. I tried to scrape all the old finish off first, but with allot of tight curves, it just was easier to strip it. All the finish had to come off of this bow. Kenny

Kenny, you didn't want to make a fiasco out of stripping that Fasco, eh? 8^)

Used citristrip to remove paint on an excel riser, worked great.

I've been using it, and it's been working fine.

It was definitely a Fasco fiasco when I got her. I first opened that box and thought, did I really spend money on this? But after stripping, sanding, scraping and more sanding and sealing with a water thin epoxy, all is working out well. I have been taking pictures of the entire process and will post all when she is done. I think that will make a fitting title to the post George, thanks for that! Kenny
