I had never seen this interview before, and I thought maybe some here would like to see it.

I remember the interview with Mike Avery when I lived in Michigan. Mike was on channel 5 news. He was the first to do an outdoor segment. John

I haven't watched Mike's show in years. I remember watching it in the mid 90's on the outdoor channel. It was a great show. That was also a great interview with Fred Bear. Isn't there a Ted Nugent interview where he talks about Fred Bear?

Yes there is, lol there's one Ted is talking to a man that guided Fred on alot of his hunts. I laugh because the guide said Fred was a lousy tipper. He was smiling though so I'm sure it wasn't anything bad. I can't remember the guides name but I believe he was Canadian and is in the Fred Bear DVD collection. Don't quite me on that last bit though

It was on Ted's tv show spirit of the wild, I'm almost 100% sure they were black bear hunting in Canada, but that's it. I tried to find it on Google but no luck :(

Fred was a sociable guy and a good business man. He would sign anything put in front of him and always with a smile. I got a photo of Fred and my dad having a beer together at a shoot. Strohs I believe.

Jon, Would love to see that pic of your dad and Fred enjoying a cold Stroh's Pure Michigan!!

John, Pm me your address again. All I have are hard copies from an old 35mm camera. Photo was taken at Harrison when dad was VP of the Michigan Bowhunters. How is your niece doing?

Gee whiz...Strohs! Do they still brew it? John

From: Jon Stewart

Don't know on the Strohs. If I remember right the photo was taken in 81 at the MBH shoot in Harrison.

Grizbow, I think the guide Nugent interviewed was Ed Bilderback, the fellow Fred mentioned. He's the one shooting bottles out of the air in Fred's videos.
