I have an original modal Whip, probably dated from 2010, 64", pulling 54 pounds. I am interested in the difference between my Whip and the HS Whip.
Is there any gain in performance? Assuming that I can sell my Whip at a reasonable price, is the HS Whip significantly better assuming a substantial price differential?
My belief is that the performance of most top of the line bows falls within 5 to 10 feet per second.
Observations and recommendations are solicited.

Why not call Dan Toelke and ask him? I assure you, no one knows his bows better than he does and he will answer any question you have.

What Jim said x2
That being said it's my understanding that the Whip HS is faster and an all around better shooter and design.

I recently bought a used standard whip, loved the bow but sold it to finance the purchase of a custom hs whip. Original whip was 55#s, Dan told me if i wanted to use the same arrows to get a 52# hs. So yes, they are just a tad faster. Im drawing 28.5"s shooting full length 400 spine carbons, 200 grains upfront, total arrow weight 500 grains. Got full penetration on this boar, I am amazed how hard these bows shoot.
