I am trying to get a set of heavier limbs for my silvertip, and was told that there was a shooter at the CTAS shoot that had a pair for sale. I was wondering if anyone knows who this is, and how to contact him? Thanks, Pat

Pat glad you posted. Actually the guy wanted to sell the whole bow. Maybe someone will chime in and remember who the guy was at the blanket sale. Good luck. Tom

The Silvertip was a LH. I do not know if that matters. The price was great for a Silvertip.

Guess I should have mentioned that I was looking for a LH bow to begin with.

Did he have a felt hat?

I don't know. I wasn't there. I was just told about it by Fulldraw, who knew he was there and what I was looking for.

If this will help locate this guy he was stationed on the far left of the designated area if you were facing the leather goods vendors and just past a guy who had a pretty good knife display in a glass case. He had his goods on a blanket along with several bows. Someone has to know????

I have been contacted by someone, but I am not sure if it is the same person. This person has a 65# bow in charcoal diamondwood with gray stained maple limbs.

Jim Shanks was over in that area. He also had bows, antlers, Bear takedown limbs. Was this the guy?

Anybody know if it was Jim?

NO, it wasn't Jim. The guy had his bow on my blanket, but I do not remember his name, I don't think he said where he was from. I know he had a shoulder replacement and that is why he was selling the bow. Two other feller's used my blanket as well, one selling a Hoyt Dorado and a guy from Nevada selling a Wes Wallace recurve. Never got their names either.LOL. Obviuosly my social skills lack. I wish I could be more help.
