So I have this old Super Grizzly with a weather rest on it and would like to try a feather rest mainly to get it closer to center shot. It has a rather large radius from shelf to window that looks like it would prevent the feather rest from getting as close as I would like so I could use a thin strike plate. Opinions from folks in the know would be helpful. Thank You.

Just stick the feather rest on and then trim the feathers angling into the window.
Personally I would use a brush rest with the bottom of the plastic disk cut off.It would sit lower to the shelf.

Installing the brush rest on that curved shelf angles the brush up slightly to hold the arrow against the window

I was looking at the round para brush rest and thought it might be good if would contour to the bow and angel the bristles upward.

Just remember that adding a thick side plate in any fashion will mess with your dynamic spine.

You can also cut the strike plate(as Juspassin said) off of the weather rest. Then build your strike plate out to where you want it.

Just put the feather rest on as close as possible and still be straight (not on angle) and let the arrow rest between the feather rest and the very thln side plate, the attow does'nt have to touch all 4 feathers, if you got it right handed it should already be angled correctly. Rich pyle

You can shim your feather rest with a thin piece of leather.
