Ray spikes were used by Australian aboriginies as barbs on various spears.along with shark teeth the sharp parts of rays and sharks can make formidable weapons and tools.Just look at Steve Erwin Australia's wild life documentary guy.A stingray barb to the chest which killed him.Some American Indians used shark teeth as arrow points too. Awesome letter opener there.I will stay clear of you when you open letters. OSR

Really cool idea. I too have had my fun with the ray. Stepped on him, not the rays fault, but still hurt. I also agree with the marketing idea. Probably could make some decent bucks off the design.
