Good morning all,
Just thought I'd let you know that today I finished getting my Shakespeare Cascade dialed in.. Thanks to Pdiddly for the info on the high b/h or I'd still be low! And thanks to Fred Arnold for the great POC arrows that he made. The bow is 60# with a B50 flemish that I made. The b/h settled in at 8-3/4" . I let the string stretch for 3 days before I started playing. Put on some cat whiskers and it's as quiet as I can get it for now. When I first shot it, it had an endless loop string and a 9-1/2" b/h and sounded like a car wreck when I shot it. I like it better now! LOL
Lance.

It sure is. Nothing worse than a noisy bow. Shot it again and put the arrows right where I was looking. I'm still working back in distances. I'd like to get out to 40 yards and have the accuracy I do at 20 yards. Thanks for the comment George. Lance.

Glad it worked out for you Lance...those little "Broadbows" can be tricky but once they're set up they sure crank an arrow and shoot a great group! 60# is a nice weight and hard to find...I've only seen two others and I have one of them. Post some pics...

I have no doubt you will do that Lance. The "want to" is the biggest factory, and also just getting out and making it happen. Enjoy that bow..the more you like it, the better you will shoot it.
