Two pounds is the most I like to carry afield. My Drake setup weighs 1 pound 13oz. My Deathmaster rig weighs 1 pound 15oz. However, I use a 3 arrow quiver. My hunting arrows weigh 475 grains.

Guess we are all getting old. Remember carrying a Jennings wood handle compound with 8 arrows. Thing weighted more than my 7mmmag with scope. These days I look for the lightest rig I have. Then ask myself, ( do I really need 4 arrows) this hunt? Been looking at my Danner boots, they seem heavy as well these days. No, getting older is not for the weak!!
