About 2 months ago there was a thread running on chair blinds. I can't find it.
There were about 4 different kinds mention - Huntmore ect. One (not the Huntmore) seemed to be head and shoulders above the others - features and cost.
Any help would be appreciated???

I use the little three legged one with adjustable length legs that swivels. Don't know the brand and am work so can't look. Just know it works swell and doesn't make any noise.

My friend just got the new Millineiumn seat. Large, very comfortable, swivels and folds for easy packing. Pricey, but no more than top end decoys!

I can't fix my Huntmore. It makes noise when I shift to shoot.
I think I was thinking of a Cabelas' Comfort Max 360. I'll check Mellineiumn.
Thanks so far,

My best friend & I use the Bass Pro Shops Blackout chairs when we hunt from a blind; swivels quietly, mesh bottom section for air flow keeps us cool, if cold then we put in a thermo seat cushion to keep warm :) runs about 99.00 but well worth it as it also has back support. The legs are adjustable for uneven terrain.

I use a metal folding chair with a custom camo job I gave it. The folfs I work for threw it away so I got it for the low price of $0.00 :-)

I've been using a Huntmore for years. A bit heavy, but very sturdy and comfortable for all day sits.

I like sitting higher I took a swivel buck seat and screwed it to the botton of an asphalt sealer bucket (bottom to bottom making and hourglass shape. My knees are not bent as much and my feet just touch the ground. My profile is higher but its a lot easier on by old bones. Easy to stand up wo a lot of moving. After sitting low in those tri pods chairs I may ned a freind to help me get up.
Is a pain to carry , but left if in a blind it shouldnt be an issue.

For a pop up blind, I'd recommend the rackpack. It will carry your blind like a backpack frame and then converts into a pretty nice blind chair. That's what I use for my DB.
The chair you may have seen is this one. For comfort and easy of setup, it can't be beat. I attached a molle frame to mine and it carries like a dream. I love it!

Do NOT get Gander Mountain's self-branded three-legged blind chair. The POS couldn't hold my 165 pounds through a third sit.
And, of course, a previously unseen turkey flew away as I exited the blind early because of it.

I'm with some of the others. Just bought the Millenium G100 & it will be hard to beat. If it's comfort you want I'd put it #1. It cost $200. & might be a little heavier in weight but I'm very pleased. At 58, I now look for a little more comfort in my stands.

use what you like, I suggest a back rest being one asset I can not do without, yet at times to keep the weight down I use a foam knee pad, a semi inflated seat for ten bucks from dickssportengoods

I use this uncomfortable stool I bought at Walmart for around $14. It's strong, quiet and portable. Hurts my butt after an hour but is easy to tote around and sits low enough for field hunting.

I found a shower chair at are yard sale all four legs adjust. Its fairly light and only cost me three dollars. Think outside the box. It beats paying one hundred dollars or more.

I don't mind spending money on quality hunting equipment. Life's too short to settle for less. Don't ever recall regretting purchasing the best.

I pickup those plastic chairs at yard sales and adjust them to fit by cutting the legs to length with my tree saw. They don't produce any noise if you turn to shoot like the fabric chairs do.
