2) New, Pacific Yew Classic Longbow, 64", 60#, with Jay St.Charles signature, light brown lace up on grip

3) Kramer Longbow 65#, "LYLE D. KIER" inscribed on the bow, also has the word "Modine" inscribed on a limb.

4) Osage Self Bow, approx. 30 years old, 66", 45#, with Jay St.Charles signature

Jay St. Charles posted on Facebook they were stolen from his shop in Western Washington. And yes, I hope everyone keeps an eye out these nice bows.

I'm no Sherlock, but it sure seems like this was done by someone who knew what he was doing. He took signed bows.

Hope the thief can't move them and gets caught.

If all of us keep an eye on the Craig's List listings, too, might that help? I'm not familiar, but where were they stolen from, i.e. what town/city and state?

Jay lives in Fall City, WA. About 30 minutes east of Seattle.

THAT REALLY IS A SHAME. IF HE HAD THEM ON DISPLAY IT WOULD BE HARD TO NARROW DOWN THE THEIF. ITS HARD TO BELIEVE THAT ANYONE IN OUR RANKS WOULD EVER DO A THING LIKE THAT.

Unfortunately, bows never be seen again. With all the social media reports, the thief just may abandon them.

Most stolen bows are either pawned, or put on craigslist or ebay. Likely it was not someone "in the know" about archery, just an opportunity. Also likely it was a local and they will try to get some money to buy their next hit. Lots of places to get lost in that area, and it's not far from Canada either.

The sad part is they will probably get 10 cents on the dollar for these items what a shame. I hope they get caught.
