Today’s shot will be the ‘Elevated Twister’ from 14 yards. Use whatever you can to get elevated or simulate being in a tree stand... balcony, hillside, ladder, tail-gate, etc. The ‘Twister’ is where you face away from the target then twist around at the waist to make the shot. This is to simulate a shot at an animal that his slipped in behind you that you take a shot at without moving your feet in the stand.
God Bless,

good morning! sitting on top of the ladder with SM48:50# and took a shot. twister is really difficult. But starting feel "what I did wrong" in a release. now, matter of eliminating those mistakes.(which will take a while, but I have something to work on). Thank you CD for making the c all. Hope everyone have fun filled Friday! Good luck to those on turkey hunt this weekend. -ted

Good morning FS took shot as called from upper deck. My hit was to far into the shoulder blade, not good. I'd better get things straighten out if I'm going to get me a turkey. Have a good one everybody. Jeff F

I've figured out one thing doing first shots. You're not likely to ever catch me shooting a twister at live game. I almost always miss to the right on the first try......even when I'm trying not too.
What you see is my third shot. First shot missed to the right, like 90% of my FS twisters. Second shot missed left. Finally on the third shot.
I either need to practice twisters a lot more or quit trying them.

I put a ladder on my concrete driveway and shot into my garage. The rain currently isn't falling, but it has been for the last several days. Local flood warnings... creeks are outside their banks and low pastures have water in them. Rain is forcasted through the weekend as well.
I hit about 3 inches off... low and left. I used 'Holes', my 67½ Super Kodiak. It was good to shoot again.
Stay strong AMERICA!

Drew, I think you jinxed me. :-) I went way right today. Normally I do well with twisters. I shot from a deck on a 2-step ladder about 12' above the target.
We had a beauty of a day today. Hopefully the yard will be dry enough tomorrow to mow.
Everyone have a great weekend!
