I just finished up a bow that was too nice not to share. It is 66" long osage, 57# @ 28". The tips are deer antler, skins are water moccasins, and the grip is clean buckskin colored deer hide that will age with the oils (and hopefully) blood on the hand to give a real sweet look. I was very pleased with the outcome and this is my 197th bow built to date. getting real close that 200 mark!

Nice bow . I think you have had it down for a while now. I need another 25 to hit the 200 mark. I would say most folks figure it out pretty good at a100 bows though. Congrats . Arvin

For some reason I thought this would be about cottonmoths on the osage river, lol.

Looks nice and clean, my favorite osage.

Very nice. I have a big green moc hide in the freezer I killed last fall while hog hunting and was thinking about using it on a bosage.....Looks good!

I had this Copperhead in my yard yesterday.

My Dad always call them a highland moccasin.

If I had that copperhead in my yard yesterday, it would be on the drying rack today! I dont get copperheads this far south, but I sure do like their skins. Yes, I do agree, they basically are a highlands moccasin

I love the bow. Looks so seductive laying there on that deerskin :) I'll be even more handsome when that yellow turns to golden brown.
