I have a Ben Pearson bow I bought at a pawn shop today and hope someone can offer some information on this bow. It is marked 71B206 and 304 on the limb 40@28. It is a 2 piece solid fiberglass that comes apart at the handle and can be shoot left or right handed. I am not able to post pics at this time but will try to later. Thanks Bryan

Look on the end and down inside it will have numbers scratched in it for the # to incase the bow gets painted like my bow..

I had that same bow, was bought in the late 50's and it was a shooter for a kid. Give it to my cousin and he still shoots it occasionally. Back then we didn't know about arrow spine or 10gr rule, just went to the hardware store and got some 35 cent arrows or went to the archery range and found some lost arrows to shoot.

I just recently got one, it's 65Lbs. It looks like brand new. I really like it. It shoots a heavy arrow with little hand shock. I another coming in a few days in 50Lbs.

I got this one a couple months ago on the swap n trade here. Been shooting it ever sense. It does like heavy arrows w/ heavy heads. Been shooting some 3-D shoots w/ it also. I'm becoming very attracted!!!

i've got a 40# and a 50#. Like them both. I did have some fiberglass lift a few years back on the 40# but I used epoxy and served over that portion of the limb and it works really well.

Enjoy it.

They are not solid fiberglass. They have a wood core.

I have one also that is my dad's. Where and why he got it I don't know, he doesn't even shoot.

I used to mess around with it in my wheel bow days but it was never set up properly and my wife and kids named it the arm slapper. You didn't shoot it with out a forearm guard.

I should dig it back out and set it up correctly to see how it shoots. God Luck with yours and enjoy it.

Mike

I picked another early Ben Pearson Takedown. It's 50Lbs and 66" long when strung and it is also olive green in color. It shoots pretty hard for 50Lbs. The 65Lbs shoots like a laser.
