I think that's what Kevin personally shot. It's under different ownership now but when the bowyer is shooting one that says a lot. I don't have one, but I love my RER Vortex 2.

I have a vortex II And a CXR...the ONLY non vintage bows I felt worth sharing rack space with my best of the best vintage bows.
And if Dave above ever comes around, I hope to have a set of longbow limbs for the cxr soon.
Rick
PS. I ran the CXR alongside my Browning Explorer II. Draw weights 1# less on the Browning. The Browning's speeds varied from 169-174fps with a 172 average. The RER went 174.1, 174.4, 174.2, 174.2, 174.2. THAT fellow wallers, is precision.
On a good day, no dif. in accuracy, but when I get sloppy, the RER gives me a little edge.

My wife and I both have the XR which were made by Kevin and Sue. Great bows. And my wife just received a heavier set of limbs which were made by the new owners, Chester and Ike. They turned out great, also.
