Folks, I'm taking reservations for Byron Ferguson's Shooting Clinic at this year's Howard Hill Southeastern Classic.
Byron's Clinic is on Saturday, June 6th, 2015, from 10 AM until 12 Noon.

I talk with Byron today, he is ready for the clinic. I was asking him what all he would be going over. He said the first thing he likes to work on is tuning issues. After tuning he will start working on form issues or what ever problems you would like for him to help you with. Byron said that he would stay as long as he needed to. When he said he would stay as long as it took for the student to be satisfied, I thought that was very thoughtful. Also Byron told me that everyone that signs up for the class would get to pick out any video of your choice. I am looking forward to it.

Terry, I would certainly be interested in taking his course. All that I would expect is to be able to shoot like Byron. Do you suppose he could stay that long? Lol.

What is the cost ? I might be intrested. took the rod Jenkins class a few years back, im no better, but cant blame that on him ! LOL

Yeah,I'd like to shoot like him to. The cost is $100.00, but if you figure all the personal attention, not to mention your choice of "Bare Bow 101" or his new How to Tune for Accuracy DVD (I think they're around $30.00 or so. It's really an outstanding deal.
Hope you can make it Randy. I believe my wife is coming up with me to the Kentucky TradFest, we're looking forward to it.

Worth the money folks. I took it a couple years back. As far as shooting like Byron I will share this. We were gathered at the aerial target range all having fun, many many misses. Byron had not shot and this kid started bugging him to shoot. Byron picked up his bow, while stringing it yelled "pull", turned and hit the target dead center and had his bow unstrung by the time the disk hit the ground. It's hard to feel good about your own shooting after seeing something like that.

Byron held me spellbound at his expo in 1978 Viking Archery Houston, Texas. He stayed after then too. Bought my lb shortly thereafter. He has never faltered. Get him to tell some of his hunt stories. They're worth a hundred bucks alone!

Near 40 years ago when Byron shot so well at his expo. Impossible! Attended 2 more thereafter. Anything better than Byron's bow magic on TV or an event might definitely be him telling hunt/shoot stories?
Believe Byron perfected the split sight window similar to Howard Hill? He's good to explain it pdq so you'll understand the hair splitting technique! None better IMHO! Hock the farm, get a 2nd job, sell your wife's jewelry, or whatever to get this method first hand while you can. Comparatively inexpensive & money well spent.

I would agree 100%. He not only is a great shot but he introduces hundreds of people each year to traditional archery. He will go out of his way to help in any way he can.
