Wish I lived closer. I met Jerry once, a really nice guy. Wish I could've gotten to know him more. Best wishes for your shoot

Lisa, Already talked to Lenny at the U.B.M. festival a couple weeks ago and told him, unless something changes, we won't be able to make it. Joshua is living with us and belongs to 4H. They have a day trip planned to a Cardinal game the same weekend. You and Lem have a great time.

I never miss this shoot, hopefully I can make it this year. I am half way through 3 months of rehab after having my shoulder rebuilt, hopefully I can be shooting at least a girlie bow by May.

I will be there with my crew.

I'll be there,, bright tailed and bushy eyed,,,,,,,er,,, something like that anyway. we will have the three ranges again this year, if 30 targets are too many ,, shoot the 20 target hunter range, if that is too many shoot the 10 target range,,,, Remember folks, the money made from the 4 major shoots we put on goes to send terminally ill kids on once-in-a-lifetime hunting and fishing trips, these trips are about 3 thousand dollars each, not counting the donated part. Last year we were able to donate 21,000.00 dollars to help the kids, on a personal note it costs those of us who work the shoots an average of $175.00 to for each shoot in expenses, those who attend donate through purchases and fees, all that adds up to some of the most generous and wonderful people to walk on two feet, HOORAY,, FOR ALL OF US and especially the kids. One of our leatherwallers jamesv told me today that he will custom make a bow for auction or raffle , if you buy or win it he will build it to your measurements,,,[ interesting ] your draw length ,poundage handage,, right or left, they are gorgeous bows,i own several, and my school owns several. and I want one more.

see yall on Enid Lake the weekend after Mothers Day and the weekend after Fathers day. We are going to try to eliminate the long hillclimb at the end of the range this year.

We always have a good time, the cry baby course is a blast. See ya on the range!!!

From: bigfoot1408
Date: 27-Feb-15

yeah,,, the crybaby course is a blast,,,, that's the mildest thing I say about it when I come out with a whopping 7 out of 50, some scrounge hides the 5 ring, and the animules jump the string, . Then on the range,, there is an outhouse,,,,,,, with an aminal behind the door, harrrruuummmmpppph, what it will be is a closely guarded secret,, { artie can't remember what he put back there} you are supposed to shoot it , not laugh at it. The Saturday night supper the lady cooks is enough to bring tears to your eyes,,,, it will clear your sinuses,,, the coons at night will not come near the crawdad shells. The tears of joy and happiness of the guest kids will be something to remember for a long long time. Mr.Erick sir,, bring your girly bow, we won't tease you,,,, much. but,,,, BRING YOURSELF.
