This is my first bow, purchased at a yard sale 20 something years ago when I was a little guy. Was digging around at my parents and found it...thought it had been disposed of, so I was quite happy to get my hands on it again. As I remember she was a good shooter; sadly, I broke the bottom limb by repeatedly stringing it improperly. I can't help but wonder if I would have ever participated in archery had I not had $5 in my pocket and gone to the garage sale.

See below photos and tell me if you think I could get it fixed.

Also, does anyone know anything about this bow? I would love to find another for my wife and/or sons to shoot. Have not been able to locate one to date. Is it rare? When was it made? Thanks in advance!

Gosh those photos are crappy. Bear Panda, 35@28, 60 inches, serial number 25BK80. There are 3 U.S patent number listed and directly below it says Canada 1953. Is 1953 the year made, or simply the Canadian patent number?

Just the Canadian patent year. Someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly to help out with the year it was made.

The Panda semi recurve were made 1959-61. I'm not too up on that model but I'm thinking yours might be a later year.
