Weight training with I believe to be a newer style 4 arrow quiver. If you like bow quivers this one is hard to beat. I personally have a love hate relationship with them.

No hate hear. I hade a Hoyt Gamemaster and it shot very good and very accurate. Probably should've kept it. Enjoy

I shoot my hoyt buffalo better than any bow I own or have shot to date. I have bows that cost over $1300 dollars and they may be pretty but none of them shoot better than my buffalo. I love to shoot my longbows more than anything but I still can't shoot them better than my Hoyt. I don't use the 2 piece quiver because once I get into my tree stand I like to take my quiver off, so I use the Hoyt Shorty Quiver , it bolts on in same place as the top piece of the 2 piece but can be took on and off.

Absolutely love my Gamemaster, been shooting it for about 8 years now. One of the best recurves made IMO.

I bought a almost new Dorado from a fellow who needed the money. I'm not a fan of metal risers, take downs or camo limbs on bows. But could not pass on the price.
After having it for almost three years I still don't like those types of bows BUT...It honestly is one of the sweetest, smoothest shooters I have ever shot.
Still not a fan but if you like them they are outstanding.
( I'm a dihard one piece wood bow kinda guy. :)

I shot a Buffalo for 4 years but now I've moved into a different direction so I sold it. I would have liked to pair it with a set of premium Hoyt limbs but didn't get the chance.

I own a Hoyt Excel with two pair of TT limbs {35&40lbs} and getting a 50lb pair of limbs soon. This is one of the best shooting bows for me that I have shot....DaveP

After owning a Gamemaster and letting it get away, I have a new one on the way in full camo (last year's model, 62"). What convinced me was hunting this fall with my friend who used his Gamemaster for a walking stick as we hiked through the woods to the tree stands, clearing brush along the way, and then shooting it with near perfection. I prefer a bow I can use to one that might get a blemish on it. That's just me.

I own a Buffalo with 2 sets of medium limbs. 45 and 50 pounds. I'd like to try a set of xtra shorts in 45 pounds. It's a fine bow.

Rooty - What kind of quiver do you have attached. Looks good, I like it would like to attach something like that to my Hoyt Formula HPX... Thanx

I've owned metal risers since the very early 70's and like them a lot. Only drawback to me is cold weather, but a bicycle wrap around the handle area and it's just fine. Close minded folks just miss out on many good things.

I had a Hoyt game master 11 and it shot great and had aftermarket limbs that was awesome. It was the only bow I shot a bow quiver on. It was the only mag style handle I liked I called it my Mad Max bow.

The Hoyt Reflex bows were Hoyt's sort of second line compounds, maybe still are...pretty obvious that is a reflex style compound riser adapted for recurve limbs, just another example of a factory WARF bow...my Hoyt is a FITA Avalon riser adapted for hunting and only made in 1996...the Desperado is a great shooter and about as nice a metal riser bow as you will ever see...fast and quiet with the right string

Gutpile pa. Put up a pic of the Nomad. I think I paid $500.00 for the Hoyt reflex tradition. It's 55# at 28", I'd like to trade for 50# limbs if anyone's intrested. Mine shoots great also.

I have to agree also. I have had a lot of bows too. My two favorite all wood bows are my Anderson longbow and a Great Plains Rio Bravo recurve I sold. But if I could only have one bow I think my Hoyt Tiburon that is 64"(med. limbs)50lb. would be the one I would choose.
