I just bought a groves flame hunter,56"44@28".I don't know much about this bow,but it seems to perform very good,just would like any comments on this bow good or bad thanks.

Can't help you but hope someone knowledgeable chimes in. I acquired a 62" 38@28 Groves Flame and haven't been able to find much related info.

They are great bows. As good as has ever been built. My dad shot Harold's recurves' almost exclusively for years and I still have a couple.
Harold Groves built the bows in his shop in Albuquerque.

They're good bows like all of the other Groves bows. Flame Hunters were more of an entry level bow and didn't have the Dynastressed limbs that many other Groves bows had. They're not as fast but still respectable and well made.

I shot mine some today. Very nice bow, not as snappy as his Spitfire Prestige bows (with the Dyna Stressed limbs), but plenty of fun anyway. Also a very beautiful bow. I'm with George - it's way better than I am!
