I have been a fan of Steve's bows for quite awhile. I have a Shelton on order and can't wait to get it.

About 6 months for mine.

Picked up a 60" Baraga myself this summer.... After talking with Steve and trying one of his bows, when one popped up on the classifieds, I couldn't wait even that long! Well today, I could neither be more thrilled nor satisfied with that bow. Which I might add is my very first longbow after a lifetime of recurves!

Great bows and true works of art for sure. Plus, Steve's handshake is worth more than any written contract.

My N.M. Whisper remains my favorite longbow. It's smoothness on draw and silence amaze me.

After reading your article and hearing lots of good things about NM, I found out my buddy had one at his shop. I took it home to try out and I fell in love with it! I might be keeping this one and getting on the list for another. 64", 52# @ 28". I would like to try a 60"

I got a 60" Baraga... 72#@27"... I draw it 80#@30". Really starting to enjoy that bow. It just plain launches a 725gr arrows. The bow is so well crafted it makes the extra pounds easy to love and kinda addictive too.

The Baraga I have so smooth it is scary! What brace height you guys shooting? I have this one set up at 7 1/4". It loves my camo hunter 2016 with 200 tips

6.25"

Am I too high with 7 1/4?

From: Panzer
Date: 07-Jan-15

Maybe not. Mine likes 6 3/4 but I would think that 7 1/4 might be right at the max.

It shoots great there. One more ? for you Baraga shooters, What strings you guys shooting? I am not sure if the string that is on here is b50 or b97? I want to have my buddy make a string, but not sure what to make for it...

From: Tomarctus

Whatever string Steve pug on it to begin with. I've no idea honestly. Also my low brace is somewhat of a tuning byproduct. My brace height will probably change with a new batch of arrows this spring.
