Needing some prayers here. After eight months in the Dementia ward of the local nursing home, my Dad passed away at 7:00 AM this morning. I know he is now in a much better place but it's still pretty tough. He didn't hunt with a bow, but he did love to hunt, especially Canada geese. He was 81 years old, and not only being able to hunt with him, I had the honor of working with him in the family business for over 30 years. My brothers and sister and I were with him when he went, so he was at peace. Thanks guys, Barry

Sorry for your loss it will get better with time to some degree. Lord can you please soften the sting of this loss with their father and lift up their spirits and show your healing hand they need to see you there.Give them courage as well as wisdom dealing with there loss of father.

Barry---I am sitting here in shock as I read your prayer request---I literally---LITERALLY---just put one of your strings on an old Herters just a few minutes ago! I am so sorry for your loss and I pray that you and your family are holding up well during your time of sorrow. Just sent a prayer to the Lord of Glory on the Throne of Grace in your behalf and I hope you all are holding up well.
Thanks for your excellent strings and excellent customer service for the (literal) dozens of strings I've bought from you and know that most of my bows and every bow I've given as a gift (including the most recent Dacron) has had one of your strings on it. As always, God and Christ Bless!

Barry your Dad sounds much like mine. I worked with him in the family business for 25 years. As far as I know he has only harvested one deer in his life but loved duck hunting. Lost him to cancer 12-12-13 I will pray for you and your family in the days ahead. I feel your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. My day went suddenly, from a massive stroke, Sept 2010, mom just about a year ago after a long struggle with renal failure, heart disease, and other complications of diabetes, it's never easy, even when it's a blessing for them.
