Afternoon FS. Sunny and 30 degrees at 1345. Staying home today - no hunting as wife is sick. Shot as called with my new #45 Whip and 3555. Ordered a new center section.

All My Best,

Fred

As called, off of a platform stepladder about 4 feet up.'Bout a inch too far right. One blade of the Woodsman left a nick on him... I've cut myself worse shaving, so no cigar today.

Thanks Chad and all our best FIRST SHOOTERS;

Bill

(OOPS...forgot about the quartering...will do it twice next time)

Took the shot from a 12 foot high platform but waited for it to warm up some before going out..

I have never been able to figure out why my arrow always like I am shooting from the ground when I am shooting from the 12 foot high platform.

It finally dawned on me today the conduit frame is actually bent backwards at about a 30 degree angle so maybe that is what makes the arrow seem like they are shot from the ground???

Took Jake out this afternoon. Him with the Blackhawk Mosquito and me with the Herway Crusader. My shot was 16 yards on the ground and him at about 10. He got 2 out of 4.

Then we had fun with the rotting punkins. Put a nectarine seed on it for a target. It took him 7 tries at 12 yards but he didn't want to move closer. I center punched it 12 yards. Funky smelling arrows now. Got to get him out there more, he's got great form, just doesn't hold his bow arm still.

Way to go Jake! You got plenty of time to work on that form although it appears you are off to a good start. 30 degrees here at 3:00 pm. Shot downhill with my Wes Wallace Royal done in elm. Best to all.

Way to go Jake!! Looks like a lot of fun!!!

I took my shot from my 10ft ladder stand. A little low and back, but I think it would have got the job done with the angle.

Stay strong AMERICA!
