I have a wing presentation 69. P723 43@28. Is there a way to tell when it was made.

Is it a one-piece with an all-wood riser? Does it have the "horn" under the palm of the hand like this one of mine? Mine's a 66P0250, from 1962 I think.

Kelly on this site will know... I think he has the 0001 ser. number bow in this model.

I can give an approximation but will need more info than just the serial number. Almost need a picture of the handle.

Jack -

Definitely an early model. Only issue I've had with mine (same design) are the very small limb tips, negating the use of most dual pocket stringers. It's one bow I have to use a friction block stringer.

Shooting and looks wise, I'm more of a fan of the PIs.

Viper out.

Hoho, you've got an Outlaw! That one, and the early Swift Wing, had those belly lams which made very handy rangefinders... until they were banned from target shoots. 1961 maybe?

Great looking "Oldman bow."

Enjoy it sir.

'61 or '62.

1961. Belly glass on riser changed on 1962's to address the "outlaw" controversy.

Does it still have the address on the "Wing" sticker? 4th street, I believe, is '62.

Viper- the Bateman stringer will work on those tiny tips.

I do not have a string and with the tip this small I do not know were to get one.

Yes, that is a 1961 "Outlaw" version Wing Presentation.

Hey Joe -

The Bateman is my go to stringer, and the upper limb cup is too big for the old Presentation limb tips. One of the reasons I had to by the friction block stringer (which I really don't like).

I do have some really old dual cup stringers that might work, but I'd be a little nervous about using them - yeah, they are that old...

Viper out.
