They are the 1963 models, and aren't any more valuable than others. Some people don't like them at all, others can enjoy the function inside the design. You first have to say which dog leg model you have..Kodiak? Grizzly? Kodiak Mag? Also do an Ebay search in completed listings to see what the market is doing.

I've seen pretty ones, factory camo ones, plain Jane ones. Somewhere I saw a post with chrono results by a guy who had a 55# Kodiak or Super Kodiak from every year 59 -69 , and the '63 dogleg was second fastest, after a 67.5 SK.

Yeah I've heard those 63s are quick bows.

Ugly, but quick. :)

I've seen some that I could grow to like. Nothing functionally wrong with the design that I know of.

If you are talking about the 63 Kodiak, I think they had a reputation of coming undone at full draw. Don't know if it was a deserved reputation or not. I personally like the look of the dogleg. Look at the collecting bear bows section on Stickbow.com. See link below. lots of info there.

I've always thought they were distinctive. One of these days...

63 Cub was also a dogleg. Grizzly was made in two types,K-mag in three! Only ones that had issues were the type I and type II Magnums.

Yep, only the Kodiak Mags had issues. Thankfully though, Bear changed the design for 64 and it all fell in place. 8^)

Problem was there just wasn't enough glass actually glued to the riser!

On the first two type K-mags that is.....

Here's the '63-'66 Kodiaks (L-R), and the '63 is the best shooter of the group.

Early on, I named it the "ugly mother-in-law" bow, but after playing with it a while, it became the "smokin' hot girl friend."

Those type 3 magnums are also worthy bows as well.
