Anybody heard of this brand before?
There is one on the auction site, pretty bow but seems to me to be very expensive.

I own 3. The Ambush for my stand hunting. 54" The Rio 58". for med range The Laredo for Long. yds You do t need 3. but Ilikedthe. so much I bought them for my sons to use.
The bows are very nicely put together. For their price range, they are at the top of their class. I like mostly for the smoothness. The grip is small. the Mass weight of the bow is light to carry. I can walk all day without my arm getting numb:))) The Laredo 62". stands head to head with ANY one piece $800 bow for considerably less money. I have them all around the 48 to 52# range. Zero vibration. Excellent bow in its class. Dave is a strong communicator and offers an excellent warranty. He's a small shop. But a very professional guy. Very good bowyer. For the money, hard to beat.

I like the looks of the Laredo, similar to the Martin / Howatt Hunter. I would like to try one myself, and would not be opposed to buying it - but I have not seen any in person here in the Midwest.

I bought a like-new 46# Laredo when I decided to get back into archery as my only other bow at the time was a #55 Wing. I have since traded it for a heavier bow as I regained my draw strength.
The Laredo has some similarity to the 70's era Howatt Hunters but the bowyer denied that he copied them in any way.
It is a smooth drawing bow with no stacking at my 28" draw length.
I thought mine was too pretty to risk beating up by hunting with it. I had to look carefully at the one currently listed to make sure it wasn't my old bow.
