How many use fletching covers when you hunt? For what purpose? What kind do you like best? Im thinking of using the polar fleece from three rivers to hide my bright yellow fletchings.

Fletch covers can serve multiple purposes, such as rain protection, noise reduction, and hide bright feathers especially the white fletch which can spook game. I like the polar fleece too.

However, I don't use any now...which may be a reason I never kill anything...LOL

I have been spotted a lot this year. First year to use yellow where I encounter a lot of deer. My quiver stays on my bow at all times by choice.

I use a fleece one on my bow quiver, it's there more to keep the fletching hidden, than protection from weather. It'll fill with water in a good rain, unless you turn your bow upside down, and get heavy and useless.

Mine consist of a camo cloth bag that covers all the fletch and is just held in place by two sewn on elastic straps that attach to the quiver. It's quiet, conceals the fletch, and keeps rain or snow off. Easy Peasy.

I use one. It's called a 'side quiver.' 8^)

Me and side quivers don't gee haw to well. Ha!

had one fleece from 3 river collected every little thing that would stick to it, went to ranchero safari back quiver will never use anything else for hunting.

Ha, yeah, just pullin' yer leg. When I used bow quivers, I played around with one of the Safari Tuff fletch covers, but I just found it to be one more thing to mess with and keep track of. I started using yellow and orange for my hunting fletching exclusively, and it looks just like the leaves around here in Sept. I don't think I've ever been busted because of fletching color.

Our leaves are just now changing. October is usually pretty green. Because of work I may be December before I get back out. No leaves at all then. Thanks all.

Yellow is my favorite color for my hunting fletching. I don't think I've ever had a deer bust me because of the yellow fletching on my shafts. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it.

I use a Fred Bear quiver mounted to my Predator Hunter. Hot pink is my choice for fletching. I use the 3 River Fletching Cover. Just tie it to the quiver. Conceals bright color fletches, protects feathers some what, quiet if it rubs against something. All and all I like it. Works very well for me.

Ordered one last night and some camo tape for my limbs. They have a mat finish but they are still.clear glass. I suspect maybe they could be reflecting some light if I am pointed the right way.

I use the fleece one and I always use bright fletching. My fleece one needs cut narrower and resewn so it isn't so wide. Truly, a bow without a quiver in a tree is best because it's not in the way, but I hate dragging a side quiver all over the whitetail woods because I often have my pack seat and ghillie and the side quiver is a nuisance. Guess I'm fickle and conflicted on this one! For Western hunting, Elk, Moose and all stalking hunts give me a bow quiver always.

If deer and elk are color-blind, it seems the main purpose of a fletching cover would be to keep the feathers dry... A mass of white fletching would be pretty noticeable bobbing around in the woods, though. You'd probably want to hide those.

I use an old camo headnet after I'm in the stand. If it's raining I put a plastic bag underneath it.

Could someone post the photos of the FLETCH COVERS they use. Need be, I will get one sewn up. WOUKD seem to me a Nylon swatch of material sewn up shouldd do. Something with a draw string system. Photos would help.

Perfect. Easy fix. I stalk when hunting and this cover will do the trick perfect. Thanks
