This morning was a good morning to be in the woods. The temp finally dropped to the high 40's and the wind wasn't that bad. I had 4 does come in but were so jumpy from being cold nosed by a young 4 pt. After coming to draw 3 or 4 times they moved on offering no shot. 15 minutes passed when a buck breaks out of the brush headed straight to me. At 15 yards he cut to his left giving me a quick shot. My shot was high but hitting his spine dropping him in his tracks. He bawled loudly and tried to get up but I was able to get off a good follow up shot sending him to the light. As I was checking him out from my tree two coyotes run in looking for the bawling buck. I tried to draw another arrow but it hung in my quiver, both dogs busted me and ended my fun.

Very nice congrats! I got my first selfbow deer this year and right now I cant imagine hunting with any other style bow again. Great job!
