Good stuff RC. I'd like to try one of those treesharks or Centaur two blade, but I don't know if I could ever sharpen a two blade satisfactorily. Will stick with the three blade for a while. I think you have more fun bowhunting than anyone I have known of. Love to see your threads.

Thanks guys. I did kill one on the mornings hunt and I am thankfull. there were a whole lot of tree time in between #1 and #2 though. I hunt because I love it and to kill stuff. If I was not planning on gaffing one I`d go fishing.RC

I don't think "lucky" has a lot to do with it. I think it's skill, knowledge, and desire. You are an awesome hunter! Congratulations, and I always enjoy your stories and pics. Thanks for taking the time to share.

Desperado, Respectfully I say that a bloody broadhead slit from a Simmons makes me smile along with a lot of other people I`m sure. If I offended you I am sorry. RC

From: Flash
Date: 20-Oct-14

Yep, when it saw the hole the broadhead made I was thinking... NICE! I bet the internal picture was pretty messy.

From: Shape Shifter
Date: 20-Oct-14

Great job. Man that head really cuts a hole.

From: Desperado

Robert...You most certainly did not offend me at all with your kill. I like a big exit/entrance wounds as well... BUT.....There are pro-hunters ,non-hunters and anti hunters. We will never change the minds of us pro-hunters and we will rarely change the minds of anti-hunters. However, seeing bloody photos of game animals can turn non-hunters into anti-hunters in a moment. We are always under the microscope of society and I think we must do everything we can to keep a good image to the non-hunting public.I do not believe blood spattered photos do that but they indeed have the opposite effect.I am always defending the necessity and honor of being a conscientious hunter and blood spatter pictures do much more harm than good.Always remember non-hunters make up the vast majority of voters. If we disregard that fact it will come back to bite us.You should certainly be proud and smile with your success but flaunting it is not a good thing. You never know who is watching.Just my two cents.

Great job as always, Robert. Keep it up. Still more room in the freezer, I bet.

From: pdk25

And Desperado, some of us like seeing the entry and exit hole. It is bad manners to tell someone else what to do.

Lots of photo police on LW lately. Can't believe how many of them are from near where I grew up in PA.

Fantastic job again, Robert.

RC the way you lay them down, I don't think there is any luck in that.

RC, Must be a bunch of deer in Jawga..:)and tags are good for how many each year?..:)

In many other states..hunters get one tag..and some go several years before filling one..

You've had a productive season..Good waiting, watching, listening and shooting!..Jim

Way to go Robert. Everybody knows there is no luck when you are hunting. If anything there is bad luck.....for the deer! Congrats!

From: GLF

Congrats guy. Isn't it funny how the harder you work and the more you learn the luckier you get, lol.

Ohio was 18 deer till year before last now its 9 I believe.
