I see you covered up that beautiful sight window with the classic Bear strike plate. Does that bow have an arrow rest, or are you sticking that sealskin on your knuckle? ^(_)^

The strike plate is stock. Hmm good idea mike it is covering up a lot of the sight window. With the feather rest off its like shooting off the hand. Maybe a little triangle for a side plate would look good. Here a pic off my RER with seal skin. Cameron

Since that bow is really not as much a 1959 Kodiak replica as it is an improved version of that bow and its 1960 follower there is no reason to keep it in "original" condition...seems to me everything you have done has made the bow a better shooter for you at the same time making it nicer to look at...that may be the true meaning of a custom bow
