I have been making video clips of trick shooting with Turkish archery tackle and technique for some time.
Placing the arrow on the "opposite" side of the bow and shooting with thumb release enables the Eastern archer to nock-and-shoot faster, even if the arrow are picked by one by from the quiver. Holding the arrows in draw hand provides some additional speed.
Here I demonstrate this skill with the combination of shooting at aerial discs and from continually changing distances.
