yeah its something when you come up on a boar that knows you are there (or maybe thinks you are another boar) and they start hooking a pine tree with their tusks and growling!

I have been hunting with a malfunctioning headlamp for about 3 weeks now. I bought a new one yesterday. tried it out last night and I did not realize what I have been missing. I got the 22 dollar Bushnell at wally world and I believe it is a good one. We will see. It sure is good to see where I am stepping for a change, even though the grass has grown up in some places and always gives me pause. We don't have any pigs right now and that suits me fine. I have been more relieved than usual when getting back to camp in the evenings myself. New light will help.

Good hunting guys.

I don't like wearing a lamp around my head. I do have headlamps but prefer to wear them around my neck. I carry 2 small LED flashlights also....just in case. Frank

Oh. I thought he just had a ieep. His "flashlight" is probably one a'them ten million candle power spotlights!
